Description
This document contains all current guidance relating to ICD-10 5th Edition 2016 Clinical Coding in Scottish Morbidity Records (SMRs), excluding Long COVID – Scottish 5th digit for U07.4 Post COVID-19 condition, SCCS34 December 2022 which can be accessed on the Terminology Services Website.
All discharges from 1st April 2026 should adhere to the guidance given in this document and subsequent publications of the Scottish Clinical Coding Standards.
Obsolete standards are not included in this document, but are available on request from phs.terminologyhelp@phs.scot
